I’m not a huge reader of fantasy, but ‘Carry On’ was a welcome surprise, it’s even given me a kick up the bum to start reading the Harry Potter series this year.

A Baillee appreciation post. He's always up for snuggles and is there cheering me on as I write.

The last 2 days I haven't been feeling very creative - but I'm still keeping busy. Have to maintain my motivation, but there's a balance to avoid burnout.

I've been reading 'Blitz' for a week now and it's great, but sheesh is it a big book with lots of flashbacks and jumping around the timeline. I'm loving it, but the pace is a little slow at the moment. Lots of new things to discover in the Checquy universe, as soon as I get past the halfway point I'm sure things will pick up.

Making the most of the sunshine and visiting the local falls. If it wasn't for the cold gusty breeze I wouldn't mind sitting here to write. #kondallilafalls #amwriting #nature #inspiration #authorsofinstagram

Mothers Day is always bittersweet for me. 10 years and it still feels like last year... but there's a lifetime of memories to cherish.

Remembering how I used to lay in the backyard and write in the sunshine in Melbourne, and Bobby would sit with me to help out.

April wrap up! I even read a number of e-books.

Does anybody else who has a productive day of writing find that when asleep afterwards they dream heavily? I get some full-on random stuff happening that does not make any sense.

On track to finish writing this novella by the end of the month - 2 more scenes left and 2 more days!
