Deportment and Assassination – got me hooked! I picked up this collection recently and keen to see how good it is. If you see me whiz by pretending to hurl throwing stars and executing a somersault (while grunting and groaning), Keep Calm and Read On – because I’m just living out loud the fantasy… what girl doesn’t want to be a fierce mercenary while sporting a set of pearls and a french roll?

I’m going to try and get started on Gail Carriger next month – but I’m a mood reader, whenever I set myself a TBR I always end up picking something else. It’s a bit of a lucky dip 🙂 But I review everything I read, so there’s definitely some posts coming with Carriger goodness. I haven’t picked up this series yet but you have to check out Gail Carriger’s other series, The Parasol Protectorate!! The first book is the most meh, but then it gets better and better!!!
